Films and Filming Magazine: April 1971

The iconic Films and Filming magazine. Come for the lead article on Warhol and his filmography and stay for the incredible photos of Paul Newman, Joanne Woodward and vintage ads for John Cassavete’s Husbands. Cover star Joe Dallesandro is featured throughout, star of many films that came out of Warhol’s Factory. If you haven’t seen any of the factory flicks but recognise the torso, a cropped still of Joe from the film Flesh was used as the cover image for The Smiths debut album.
